Its official Skoda is the most satisfying car brand to own according to ownership surveys carried out by the highly respected which? Car publication. The Czech car manufacturer managed to score a colossal 88.4 per cent satisfaction rating putting them ahead of all other manufacturers in the survey.
As if being named the overall most satisfying brand to own wasn’t enough, four of Skoda’s models made it into the surveys top 10 products. The multi award winning Yeti came 4th, the Superb estate 6th, and the two generations of the superb hatch came 9th and 10th with all four achieving approval scores in excess of 94 per cent, a truly exceptional achievement. On top of this both estate and hatch variants of the Fabia and Superb were named as best buys by the survey.
The Which? Car survey has been running for five years now and is the largest of its kind in the UK with over 63,000 new and used cars rated in this survey alone. This particular review ran from December 2010 – March 2011 with over 52.5 thousand respondents giving information on the 63,727 cars they owned.
Which? Car Editor Richard Headland commented: “If you really want to know about cars, ask the experts – the people who drive them every day. Motorists have told Which? Car that they love practical, good value cars, exemplified by ŠKODA.”
Robert Hazelwood, ŠKODA UK Brand Director, commented: “We are delighted with the survey results. It shows just how highly Which? readers rate our products and services. We’re very proud of the excellent engineering, industry-leading customer service and great value in every one of our cars, and pleased we’re giving people what they really want from the car ownership experience.”
