Off-road fun at Camp Jeep

Jeep owners and fans get in gear for the second annual Camp Jeep in France.

Organised by the Jeep Owners Group (JOG) – the only official club run by the Jeep, and already established in 17 countries in the EMEA (Europe and Middle East) region – it’s “a celebration of the deep sense of belonging and identity that surrounds Jeep brand fans”.

The weekend, staged at the beautiful Vallée Bleue, near Lyon, and also offers owners and fans of the legendary seven slot grille brand opportunities to verify the amazing off-road performance of every 4×4 Jeep.

Camp Jeep consists of three days devoted to adventure, freedom and outdoor activities.

Guests at Camp Jeep will have the chance of getting to know and getting to drive the entire range of Jeep models – the Grand Cherokee, the Wrangler, the Renegade and the Cherokee.

Either standard models or customised vehicles are accepted and there are four routes of varying difficulty levels.

The Camp Jeep site will feature a fully-fitted camp-site for sleeping, and various theme areas including the Wrangler Stage, plus activities, exhibitions of vintage models and barbecues.

Jeep spirit isn’t only confined to off-road driving – participants can also drive watercraft or go canoeing on the river.

The cost of participating in the three days of Camp Jeep 2015 is 95 euros for each Jeep vehicle registered (135 euros for non-JOG members), while a one day pass costs 50 euros (65 euros for non-JOG members). To sign up for the event, just visit the dedicated Camp Jeep website.
